On your test, your examiner will tell you whether they want you to drive in and reverse out, or reverse in and drive out.
3. Pull up on the right side of the road: Last, but certainly not least the third manoeuvre involves pulling up on the right-hand side of the road, reversing for two car lengths and rejoining the traffic when it’s safe to do so.

Aside from these main manoeuvres you may also be asked to perform an emergency stop, a hill start or to simply pull up on the side of the road.
